How Shownet 2 Way Internet Works

Shownet 2way Requests for websites travel from your computer to the satellite dish and up to the satellite. Your signal is received at the 2Way Internet Network Operations Centre (NOC) located in NY, USA . Your request is passed to the desired Internet site. The requested content is then forwarded to the NOC and up to the satellite and zoomed down to your satellite dish and on your PC using Atlantic Bird-2 (AB-2) Orbital location.

Shownet 2WAY Internet uses a high speed DVB-S or DVB-S2 (TDM) Channel for outbound communication with the terminals.This channels is capable of supporting data rates up to 121 Mbps and with return traffic data rates up to 1.6 Mbps.Shownet 2way system is designed to provide efficient,high speed transport IP traffic.Our system features have been incorporated into each NOC and remote terminal to improve performance, response time and bandwidth efficiency.In addition ,IP routing and QOS features contribute towards making system a robust full featured solution.
