· Always leave your smart card inserted in your decoder.
· To power off, use the on/off button on your remote to initiate Standby Mode on your decoder. Leaving your decoder powered on tuned to Showtime at all times ensures that it receives regular channel updates. This is especially important on your Showbox because if you turn it off at the main switch, it will not record.
· If you ever see an “E16” message on your TV screen and your subscription is still valid, follow above instructions to refresh your signal. Your channels will be restored within 20 minutes of sending your message.

· To access ShowGuide, your 7-day electronic program guide, press the “TV Guide” or “EPG” button on your remote control.
You will also find a program synopsis of the currently running and next program by pressing the ‘i’ or ‘info’ button on your remote control twice (This service is not available on Technosat decoders).
· To access the quick channel list, press the OK button on your remote control. Showbox users should press one of the arrows < > around the OK button.
· The Factory default PIN number is either 0000 or 9949. You can change the four digit PIN for the Parental Control function settings at your convenience. Make a note of your PIN on the back of this Welcome Pack and keep it somewhere safe.
· You can also choose to block a specific channel or program based on the parental control rating with your PIN number, by selecting the “Lock” option found in the “Organizing Services” menu*.
